Our Learning Environments

The children are grouped with others of similar age into two groups.

Inside Environments

Our indoor learning environment is stimulating, challenging and homely.  The environment consists of a balance of child sized and adult sized furniture to create that sense of home.  The resources are displayed to the children in an attractive and child friendly manner to encourage the  children to self-select and to e active participants in their own learning.  Our environment  is interchangable to meet the needs of the individual child or the group.

The Outdoor Environment

Our outdoor environment is inviting, aesthetically pleasing and challenging.  The children and educators take great pride in caring fro our outdoor space.  Many of the children's learning experiences take place in our natural environment where we extend on interests such as planting, sustainability practices and taking care of our worm farm.

The space is organised to allow the children to participate  in a variety of physical gross motor experiences.  The environment also caters to the children's need to participate in sensory, exploration, creative and messy play experiences.

The Outdoor environment is a large natural play space with lots of areas to explore, we have a large sandpit, a barked soft fall area for large gross motor physical activities, a bike track, a garden area with vegetables and herb plantings, and lots of area for discovery and play including a slippery dip built into the side of a small hill.
